Orient / East

.. He saw pearls of sapphires and corals And the big night still and transparent He saw cities of nations he saw passing people Light footsteps and musical gestures He discovered perfumes...

Life is growth

Image
"Life is growth And every day We have a chance To learn the way To see the world And find our place Through an eye-roll Or a shared embrace. Living is about The experiences we share While showing our friends That we'll be there To witness those moments That make us real Because we know we're living Every time we can feel." © Ted Stahl - digital mixed media and layered fractals

My heart is a thousand years old.

“My heart is a thousand years old. I am not like other people.” ― Charles Bukowski ***** I am not like most people. I feel things too deeply. When I allow myself to love, I love deeply ... And when I hurt or let go...I do so just as deeply. I truly do not know how to love in halves. With me, the love, respect and care that I may allow myself to gift to someone is all or nothing, but it is never with half of my heart. And I only hope to receive the gifts of Love, Respect and Care from others in the same way as I gift them. I see love as something that roars or screams or bubbles over from us .... Or it may silently whisper from our hearts... But, a love that is truly felt, is always present and can never be diminished within it's purity. Sometimes, it is there and we may have to rearrange it to a different form or space within ... But, it remains. .... I don't play games with other's hearts and minds. I refuse to. ..... For those are not toys, but, something to be cherish...

Time does't fly

Image
Time doesn’t fly, it steals. Like some skilled pickpocket or magician, it gets you to look the other way and when you do, it ruthlessly steals your essential things— memories, great moments that end much too soon, the lives of those you love. It knows how to trick you and then steal you blind.” ― Jonathan Carroll  forgottensouvenirs  on tumblr

We spend 1st January ...

Image
"We spend January 1st walking through our lives,  room by room, drawing up a list of work to be done, cracks to be patched. Maybe this year, to balance the list, we ought to walk through the rooms of our lives... not looking for flaws, but for potential." ― Ellen Goodman Photo by Ando Fuchs

Each moment

To the attentive eye, each moment of the year has its own beauty, and in the same field, it beholds, every hour, a picture which was never seen before, and which shall never be seen again. ~ Ralph Waldon Emerson ~ Photo Sergei Vagaev
