Smaller than a grain of salt
We are petrified of being alone and don't see it as an opportunity to fix what's broken or as an ideal time to set new goals.
We don't listen to others' advice - whether we'd asked for it or not - because somewhere in our minds we think we know everything.
We unrealistically expect other people to create or provide happiness for us and then we still wonder, years later, why we're not happy yet.
The list goes on and on.
Please note I said WE. Not you. Not me. We.
We are human, much smaller than a grain of sand in the great scope of things. When will we start thinking further than our egos?
